Christina Legotti GEO Gold Medal Recipient
My name is Christina Legotti, and I am a graduating senior at Fairleigh Dickinson University- Florham. I am a psychology major with a concentration in behavioral neuroscience. I also have minors in biology and chemistry. On campus I am on the Devils Softball team and a sister of Theta Phi Alpha. I am a member of the Psi Chi: National Honor Society in Psychology and Order of Omega National Leadership Honor Society. I had the opportunity to attend Wroxton College in the fall of 2013. This experience taught me a great deal about different cultures and allowed me travel throughout Europe. In the winter of 2015 I participated in a service-learning trip in Ecuador. This trip taught me about others and myself as I engaged in the hard physical labor involved working within a cultural enrichment center. It was a very rewarding experience to live, learn, and work in a different environment from my own. The Global Engagement Program has broadened my horizons in terms of understanding international diversity.  It has inspired me to attend UN events and engage in activities that I never thought that I had an interest in. Next fall I will start my studies in nursing at Stony Brook University where I look forward to applying the knowledge I’ve gained in the GEO Program.
