FDU Hillel Holocaust Memorial Day---Yom Hashoa Program

Holocaust Survivor Guest Speaker Miryam Suserman Miryam Suserman was born in Paris, France and was eight years old when the war broke out. She was one of five children born to parents who emigrated from Poland to Paris. Only Miryam and her father survived the war. Miryam ultimately married and moved to the United States where she had a son and a daughter. She is currently a grandmother to four grandchildren. Breakfast Seminar: Opening the Door to Cuba

This seminar is designed to provide an historical overview of relations with Cuba leading up to the action taken by President Obama. We will review the latest regulations. In addition we will have a presentation by a representative of Marazul, the U.S. oldest and most experienced Charter & Travel Agency to Cuba. Since 1979, they have sent more than 300,000 licensed travelers to Cuba. Lastly Professor Samuel Raphalides will share his experience in a recent trip to Cuba with several students.

With this information session, we hope to spread awareness about the Ebola virus and to help save lives.
